A major new development across the street from the entrance to College Cove has been proposed. The developer proposes to subdivide the single 19-acre parcel with one existing single family residence into 6 lots. He also proposes road improvements in his private road that would pave the way for another 2 lots.
This would be one of the largest development projects in the Trinidad area since the creation of the Subdivision Map Act in 1964 - and would result in the most destructive approach to developing this very sensitive piece of property.
Your voice counts. The various permitting agencies rarely receive much input from the general public, and when they do, they listen. All you need to do is speak up.
